Pizza Chicken -- Low Carb

6 chicken breast
1/4 tsp salt
1/4 tsp pepper
1 onion, chopped
2 bell peppers, cut into 1" pieces
1 can sliced mushrooms, drained
2 cups LC pasta sauce - or homemade
1 cup shredded cheese

Sprinkle chicken with salt and pepper and place in crockpot. Top with onions, peppers, and mushrooms and pour pasta sauce over all. Cover and cook on low until chicken is thoroughly cooked. Stir well, then sprinkle with cheese and let stand 5 inutes to melt cheese. Can be served over whole wheat pasta or converted rice. Or all by itself.
